Business & Entrepreneurship

Afam Elue is a Toronto-based business development and project management expert. His career spans 20 years across three different countries and several industries, including banking, wealth management, healthcare, and the public sector. Afam is talented in creating efficiencies on projects by ensuring stakeholder engagement and support, project team focus on deliverables, and business readiness through appropriate training deployment, as well as change management practices.

Afam Elue currently works as the IT Business Partner at The Fugleman Group.  His role is to understand client needs and ensure that high-quality work is delivered to the clients’ satisfaction. He also leads an elite team of technical and functional experts in architecture, implementation, training, and support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power App solutions.

Afam’s workplace, The Fugleman Group, is a boutique IT consulting firm that specializes in digital transformation and provides an end-to-end solution for Microsoft Dynamics 365. Their work includes analysis, design, and implementation, as well as training and support while using an iterative approach. They believe in focusing on the business outcomes that will improve their clients’ situations rather than merely providing tasks or deliverables. One of the organization’s goals is to be the first call for business executives looking for top-shelf service delivery, responsiveness, and straightforward technical advice. Their ideal client is looking for innovative solutions to a business process and a concise fix to existing technical problems. Their ideal client is also looking for training for their internal IT teams or users, as well as affordable and ongoing support.

Before assuming the role of IT Business Partner, Afam Elue worked for The Fugleman Group as a Project Management Consultant. In that role, Afam was responsible for executing consulting engagements with prominent clients, including Innovapost/Purolator, Bayshore Health, and Lifemark Health. One of his most notable accomplishments as a Project Management Consultant was a critical project that involved the integration of the Avaya phone system with Salesforce CRM. This project impacted 400 call center agents at Purolator and significantly minimized call duration during the company’s peak season. He also directed a development team in launching the award-winning Mobile Quick Stop initiative for the Retail Council of Canada.

Afam Elue attended the University of Benin in Nigeria, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in economics and statistics. Later, he attended the University of Dallas and completed his Master of Business Administration in corporate finance and information assurance. Afam also holds a Canadian Securities certification from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) and a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Additionally, in 2014, Afam completed the Professional Development Program at Harvard University.

Before the Fugelman Group, Afam Elue worked as a project manager for Lyoness Canada Inc. He also worked as the Project Lead at both Edward Jones Investments and Citi Financial. Throughout his career, Afam Elue has a proven track record of success in managing key projects from inception to completion while ensuring their delivery within established timelines and budgetary constraints. His leadership roles have also provided him with extensive experience in team building, project planning, vendor management, stakeholder relations, and process improvement.
